Oct 10 Green River to Moab UT

Interesting roadside landscape on the way to Arches National Park.

Here we are at Arches.
from this vantage, we could see several interesting formations

Here is Balancing Rock.  Actually there at least half a dozen of them.

The Park preserves over 2,000 arches.  These two  are called the North and South windows.  See Beth standing in North Window
Note, it;s actually a double arch

We counted elephants as we walked back to the parking area.
How many can you find?

Sand Dune Arch.

This is called he Fiery Furnace.  Found near Devils Garden.

Getting late in the day when we arrived at Park Avenue
