We did laundry at Hacienda RV and Rally Resort in Las Cruces, New Mexico
The creek bed reminded me of the dry creek beds I would drive the Jeep on near Phoenix. Sand would get soft, tires started sinking, had to speed up to stay on top. Scary to think of getting stuck out there in the desert. Anne and I stopped and helped a guy who got stuck, had a flat and didn't know how to change it. That's a brave adventure for someone with no mechanical skills. He said a guy came by on an ATV, stopped and looked at him, and kept going. He called AAA on his cell and they said they don't provide help off road in the desert.
