We arrived in Pendleton and unloaded at Will's and Christina's. Then we checked in at the KOA across town. It is a very nice place except "turtle" WIFI. Cost is very reasonable - $325/month. Glad to be settled here for a few weeks.

May 31 Will, Christina and family back to Pendleton
Moving day. We took William to the park while Will and Christina packed their cars with anything that did not get to ride with us.
Goodby Portland (about noon)
Before we passed Hood River, Will called back, suggesting we check out the wind surfers there. Weather permitting folks wind-surf all year long. They were having a competition called the Gorge Cup. We watched and took pictures for half an hour.
