From Golden, we drove along the Kicking Horse River. Weather was overcast off and on
Field ahead. Kicking Horse is broad and flat here
Picturesque village of Field, BC in Yoho National Park is behind us.
Lake Louise Village ahead. Welcome center, shops, groceries, restaurants, and tour buses.
We stopped at the Banff NP, Lake Louise Visitor Center. We picked up maps and info booklets for Banff and Jasper parks and then headed south to the town of Banff via the Bow Piver Parkway.

At Lake Minnewanka (NE of Banff) we saw horn sheep rams associated with herd back below at Two Jack

Only stop we made in village of Banff was for milk: Mostly American type stores,too many tourists.
From here we drove back to Lake Louise Village and camped at Lake Louise Campground
