May 24 Bridgport WA to Kilowna BC

As we left Bridgeport this was our view (from the bridge) of Chief Joseph Dam on Columbia River We headed north along 17 and 97.

We headed north along the Okanagan River.   Though not reflectd in our pictures, there were many acres of cherry trees.

 

Crossing into Canada

Across into Canada we drove past mile after mile of huge orchards

 Weather a little ominous on left.

Stayed a Holiday Park Resort Community near Kelowna, BC.  Lots of ammenities, like hot tub, heated pools, privacy hedges between each campsite.  Not listed in the ammenities were the huge mosquitos that were everywhere. Mostly retirees here.  Recommend for older folks, but not young families
